Found these earthen bowls in Ma's dressing table with her favourite piece of junk jewellery and a lovely hair pin. In Kolkata, most sweets are served in similar earthen pots and bowls.
I think these came with Rabdi or maybe it was Rosogolla (Kolkata's famous sweet)..I don't remember. We keep up-cycling these bowls as much as we can at home. Some times in the garden or maybe just to keep small trinkets etc. So, as a Sunday activity, I decided to paint'em! Used acrylic white paint and my regular brush. And voila! Transformed! My very own hand painted earthen bowls, ready to use...
